Affiliate Program Terms
These terms govern the Segeo affiliate program. By joining, you agree to them. We're a small team and will update these as the program grows — material changes are emailed to active affiliates before they take effect.
Who you're contracting with
The Segeo affiliate program is operated by SFDIFY LLC ("Segeo," "we," "us"). Affiliate payouts are made from our Stripe account to yours. You ("you," "affiliate") participate as an independent party — these terms do not create an employment, partnership, agency, or joint-venture relationship, and you may not represent yourself as an employee or agent of Segeo.
Joining
Anyone may apply. You do not need to be a Segeo customer. To be paid you must complete identity and bank verification through Stripe, who handle that process directly — we never see or store your bank details or identity documents. We may decline or remove any affiliate at our discretion, including where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.
How referrals are tracked
- You receive a unique referral link. When someone clicks it, we store a first-party cookie in their browser for 60 days.
- If that person starts a Segeo account within those 60 days, the referral is credited to you. Attribution is last click: if someone clicks a different affiliate's link after yours, the later click wins.
- Each customer can be credited to one affiliate only, permanently. If a customer cancels and later resubscribes, the original referral resumes.
- Tracking depends on cookies. If a visitor blocks or clears cookies, uses a different device or browser, or signs up more than 60 days after clicking, we may be unable to attribute the referral. We cannot credit referrals we have no record of.
What you earn
You earn 50% of every payment we actually receive from a customer you referred, for as long as that customer remains subscribed. This is a recurring share, not a one-time fee.
- Commission is calculated on the amount actually paid — after any discount, coupon, or credit. A customer paying a discounted rate earns you 50% of that discounted amount, and a customer on a 100%-off promotion earns nothing while the promotion lasts.
- Commission is not earned on tax, refunded amounts, or failed payments.
- The commission rate applied to a payment is the rate in effect at the time of that payment. If we change the rate, existing commissions already recorded are not recalculated, and we will notify you before a change takes effect.
When you get paid
- Each commission is held for 30 days after the customer's payment clears, to cover refunds and chargebacks.
- After that hold, it becomes payable and is included in the next monthly payout, which runs on the 1st of each month.
- Payouts are made when your payable balance is at least $100. Below that, your balance rolls forward to the following month — nothing is lost.
- Payment is by Stripe transfer to your connected account, in USD. Payouts cannot be made until your Stripe verification is complete; commissions continue to accrue in the meantime.
Refunds and chargebacks
If a payment is refunded or charged back before the related commission has been paid out to you, that commission is reversed. If it has already been paid out, we will not automatically reclaim it — we'll contact you to agree how it is handled, normally by offsetting it against your next payout.
What isn't allowed
Commissions from any of the following are void, and we may remove you from the program:
- Referring yourself, your own business, or accounts you control, directly or through another person.
- Spam — unsolicited bulk email, SMS, DMs, or comment/forum posting to promote your link.
- Paid search on our brand — bidding on "Segeo" or close variants, or running ads that could be mistaken for our own.
- Misrepresenting Segeo — promising specific search rankings, traffic, or revenue results, inventing statistics or testimonials, or implying we endorse or employ you.
- Impersonation and lookalike properties — using our name, logo, or branding as your own, or registering domains, handles, or app names that could be confused with Segeo.
- Manipulating tracking — cookie stuffing, forced clicks, iframes, automated traffic, or otherwise generating clicks and signups that aren't genuine interest.
- Paying people to sign up, offering cash rebates for signing up, or using coupon/deal sites to harvest signups that won't retain.
- Anything unlawful, deceptive, or that would harm Segeo's reputation.
Disclose that you're an affiliate
Where you promote Segeo, you must clearly disclose that you may earn a commission. In the United States this is required by the FTC's endorsement guidelines, and similar rules apply elsewhere. A plain line such as "I earn a commission if you sign up through this link" near the link is enough. This obligation is yours, not ours.
Automated review
We run automated checks for patterns that commonly indicate abuse — for example self-referral, or an unusual number of signups from one source in a short time. These may flag a referral for manual review, which can delay a commission while we look at it. We'll tell you if that affects a payout.
Suspension and ending participation
You can leave at any time; your link stops earning on future signups. We may suspend or terminate your participation at any time, with notice where practical. If we terminate you for breaking these terms, unpaid commissions relating to that breach are forfeited. If participation ends for any other reason, commissions already earned and not in dispute are paid on the normal schedule.
Stripe may independently restrict your connected account as part of their own risk review. If that happens, we cannot pay you until it's resolved with Stripe, and your balance is held rather than lost.
Taxes
You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn. We do not withhold tax. Stripe collects the tax information required for your jurisdiction during onboarding and issues any applicable tax forms; keep those details current or payouts may be held.
Changes to the program
We may change these terms, the commission rate, the payout threshold, or the attribution window. We'll email active affiliates before a material change takes effect. Changes are not retroactive: commissions already recorded keep the terms they were recorded under. Continuing to use your link after a change means you accept it.
Liability
The program is provided as-is. We don't guarantee any level of earnings, conversion, uptime of tracking, or that the program will continue to exist. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you relating to the program is limited to the commissions payable to you at the time the claim arises.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You and SFDIFY LLC agree that any dispute relating to these terms or the program will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and both of us consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
